ProctorU is a secure 3rd party online proctoring service that allows test-takers to conveniently complete an assessment from a laptop or desktop (not compatible with Chromebook, tablets, or mobile device) while being virtually proctored. If your instructor allows you to test using ProctorU, you will either be required to use ProctorU Live+ or ProctorU Review+. Both service lines require that the test-taker schedule their exam with ProctorU in advance.

Plan ahead and schedule your ProctorU exam early! Students who schedule a ProctorU exam with less than 72 hours notice will be responsible for the on-demand premium scheduling fee ($8-$12).

ProctorU Live+

If your exam is proctored with ProctorU Live+, a Proctor will launch the testing session and continue to monitor the test-taker throughout their session and the session will also be recorded. The test-taker must notify the proctor when they have completed the exam and are ready to submit.

ProctorU Review+

If your exam is proctored with ProctorU Review+, a Proctor will launch the testing session and then the session will be monitored by advanced technology and recorded.
