Canvas and Mobile Devices

Canvas is very mobile-friendly and becoming more so all the time. 

 

 

The Canvas Teacher app provides quick access to grading, communicating, and updating—three of the most frequent course facilitation tasks for teachers.  The app is available for both Android (from the Google Play Store) and IOS (from the App Store) devices.  Check out this Mobile Canvas Teacher app Links to an external site. document for details on what is available for each system.

 

 

 The Canvas Student app is also available for both Android and IOS. It allows students to:

• View their Canvas Activity Stream;
• Stay on top of their to-do items;
• View their course schedules;
• Read and participate in course discussions;
• Read, create, and reply to Conversations;
• View grades for their courses and for individual assignments; and
• View submissions and participate in comment discussions with their instructors
• View Pages and Files.
